Northbrook Woman's Club Membership

The Northbrook Woman’s Club enthusiastically welcomes new members! Before applying for membership, we encourage potential members to experience the club through our various events and activities. A friend in the club or a member of the Membership Committee may act as a candidate’s sponsor, assisting with signing up for events, activities, and meetings.

Potential Member Requirements:

  • Attend three (3) NWC/F events as a guest within the 12-month period prior to applying for membership  [at least one of these events should be a general meeting or luncheon]
  • Complete an online application for consideration for the following fiscal year (6/1-5/31)
  • A potential member is required to attend three (3) NWC/F events as a guest within the twelve (12) month period prior to applying for membership. At least one of these events must be a general meeting or luncheon. Applications must be submitted by the Saturday following the general meeting in April for consideration for the following fiscal year. All New Members are expected to attend an Orientation meeting in April and the Members Only Luncheon in May.

Once a candidate has officially joined the NWC/F, the following annual commitments are expected as an “Active” member:

  • Pay annual membership dues by July 1st [$50 in 2025-2026]
  • Actively & financially support Ways & Means Committee [$335 in 2025-2026]
  • Serve on one NWC/F Committee
  • Participate in one Community Service project
  • Serve on Ways & Means Committee one (1) time in the first three (3) years and three (3) total times in the first fifteen (15) years

 “New” members only:

  • Attend New Member Orientation meeting
  • Formally introduced at May Members Only Luncheon
  • Pay one-time initiation fee [$15]
  • Attend 4 events in first year
  • Participate in New Member Class service project

The application period for the class of 2026-2027 is now open. Please complete the application here to be considered for membership or contact us with questions. Applications submitted by April 15th will be considered for induction at our May 7th Member Luncheon.
